Toepassingen starten

Click the Endless button at left corner of the taskbar to show the Desktop. This is where you can find all of your applications. You can also go to the Desktop by pressing the Super key.

There are several ways of opening an application once you’re in the Desktop:

  • Begin met het typen van de naam van een toepassing — het zoeken wordt meteen gestart. (Als dit niet het geval is, klik dan op de zoekbalk bovenaan het scherm en begin met typen.) Als u niet precies de naam van de toepassing weet, probeer dan een gerelateerde term te typen. Klik op het pictogram van de toepassing om deze te starten.

  • Some applications have icons in the horizontal strip on the left-hand side of the Taskbar. Click one of these to start the corresponding application.

    If you have applications that you use very frequently, you can add them to the taskbar yourself.

  • When looking at the Desktop, you will see the first page of all installed applications. To see more applications, press the arrow on the right. Press on the application to start it.

Een opdracht snel uitvoeren

Een andere manier om een toepassing te starten is door op Alt+F2 te drukken, de opdrachtnaam ervan in te voeren en op de Enter-toets te drukken.

Om bijvoorbeeld Rhythmbox te starten: druk op Alt+F2 en typ ‘rhythmbox’ (zonder de aanhalingstekens). De naam van de toepassing is de opdracht om het programma te starten.
