Change the name or location of a printer

You can change the name or location of a printer in the printer settings.

You need administrative privileges on the system to change the name or location of a printer.

Change printer name

If you want to change the name of a printer, take the following steps:

  1. Go to the Desktop and start typing Printers.

  2. Click Printers to open the panel.

  3. Nhấn Mở khóa ở góc trên bên phải và nhập mật khẩu của bạn khi được hỏi.

  4. Click the name of your printer, and start typing a new name for the printer.

  5. Press Enter to save your changes.

Change printer location

To change the location of your printer:

  1. Go to the Desktop and start typing Printers.

  2. Click Printers to open the panel.

  3. Nhấn Mở khóa ở góc trên bên phải và nhập mật khẩu của bạn khi được hỏi.

  4. Click the location, and start editing the location.

  5. Press Enter to save the changes.
