Anwendungen starten

Click the Endless button at left corner of the taskbar to show the Desktop. This is where you can find all of your applications. You can also go to the Desktop by pressing the Super key.

There are several ways of opening an application once you’re in the Desktop:

  • Some applications have icons in the horizontal strip on the left-hand side of the Taskbar. Click one of these to start the corresponding application.

    If you have applications that you use very frequently, you can add them to the taskbar yourself.

  • When looking at the Desktop, you will see the first page of all installed applications. To see more applications, press the arrow on the right. Press on the application to start it.

Schnell einen Befehl ausführen

Eine weitere, für fortgeschrittene Benutzer geeignete Möglichkeit eine Anwendung auszuführen ist, den Befehlsnamen zu verwenden, was durch das Drücken der Tasten Alt+F2, gefolgt von der Eingabe des Befehls und anschließendem Drücken der Eingabetaste durchgeführt werden kann.

Um beispielsweise Rhythmbox zu starten, drücken Sie Alt+F2 und geben Sie rhythmbox ein. Der Name der Anwendung ist der Befehl zum Starten des Programms.

Mit den Pfeiltasten können Sie schnell auf zuvor ausgeführte Befehle zugreifen.
